Vacancy: Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Senior Engineer

Job Description and  Missions:

• Implement and maintain written CSK-ESBU HSEQ policies, plans, procedures, and programs, recommends changes through implementation feedback

• Ensure the HSEQ level with CSK-ESBU at all jobs and sites maintained within national and international accepted level
 
• Establish and implement CSK-ESBU annual HSEQ plans, program to meet with objectives and targets of CSK ESBU

• Establishes safety goals for each Consukorra ESBU projects/sites and strongly support the Construction Manager and all subcontractors in meeting those goals

• Establish and Implement HSEQ   annual training  matrix according  to CSK-ESBU sits/projects needs to grantee continues improve awareness of the staff and subcontractors
 
• Implement Safety Hand Book and Procedures inside all CSK-ESBU projects/sites including the sub contractors

• Support CSK-ESBU Projects/Sits Manager(s) to assessment of identified potential and significant safety risks prior to projects start and on an ongoing basis as Job Sites progresses

• Establish, implement and maintain for each CSK-ESBU new and in hands projects emergency situation plan and response procedure and periodically test the procedure to respond to emergency situation and modified the plan according the test feedback
 
• Effectively Implement the CSK-ESBU  Integrated Management System Procedures ,according to the international standers ISO 9001,ISO 14001and OSAS 18001 maintain system records (non conformance ,near miss ,incident ,accident ,  legal and other requirements ,training awareness …. Etc ) which sustains the certified audit

• Implement  ,maintain ,monitor and measured CSK-ESBU  HSEQ objectives and targets annual program

• Following up the IMS audits and the audits finding and non conformance Implement the necessarily corrective and preventive actions and maintain all belonged records

• Evaluates the effectiveness of the jobsite HSEQ observations to insure that jobsites are visited and inspected for violations and issues on a regular basis reports the results.  Evaluates the effectiveness of corrective and prevented actions taken for identified HSEQ issues

• Achieve of job safety inspection and visits; issue a weekly/monthly safety reports to identify trending and consistency related to corrective actions.  These visits would also include conversing and/or meeting with Consukorra Site Engineers regarding safety concerns and follow-up actions taken by the site engineers
 
• Achieve the site /project safety compliance with safety requirements contained or referenced within the CSK-ESBU documents for the staff and subcontractors
 
• Investigate and assisted of accident, an incident or near misses claim associated with CSK-ESBU projects/sites and makes recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Maintain a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous occurrences. Provide statistical summaries to the Projects Health and Safety Committee and draw attention to significant trends and occurrences

General Requirements
- BSc. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical is preferable )
- Previous work in the area of safety and quality projects, construction, operation and maintenance of electro-mechanical projects
- Minimum years of experience from 3-5 years
- Possess a valid driving license and preferably own a car
- Preferably permanent residence of the family in Cairo or its environs

Vacancy: Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Engineer

Tasks for HSEQ Engineer:

Assist the project managers and officials of the work sites in the identification and analysis and risk assessment of all ongoing and planned projects and in the development of plans and procedures necessary to deter the risk to life and property.

Follow-up to review and ensure applying the correct complete application for the requirements of occupational health, safety and environment in all projects and work sites and working on its development, follow-up and reporting periodically every week and month to evaluate the level of implementation of the IMS for safety, environment and quality by regular visits to sites and projects and implement corrective actions and preventive with a discussion with site executive in this regard.

Verify compliance with the requirements of the integrated management system regarding the environment and safety of workers in the business unit and contractors in all projects and work sites and continuous evaluation for projects and sites to track the dangerous points and its levels to take procedures to limit and eliminate.

Develop and implement training programs for occupational safety, health and environment necessary and appropriate to the requirements of work within the projects and work sites of the company and work to raise awareness of safety, health and environment to the employees of the company and the subcontractors and monitor the implementation of the training programs needed for different sections to ensure the quality and efficiency

Effect trainings for company employees regarding safety implementations and ensure awareness of subcontractors personnel regarding company safety procedures and provide safety manuals to all relating parties for guidance and application.

Participate in establish, develop and implement IMS of the company according international standards and save the system’s documents and prepare for certification.

Establish contingency plans for sites and company’s projects and review them periodically, also work on plans development by continuous revisions and study and analysis the revisions results

Monitor the implementation of the annual targets set in accordance with the requirements and periodically measure level of implementation.

Participate in the internal audits of the IMS and determining corrective and preventive actions and save relating documents
